"Throughout the first week of May, photographer and old Salon member Alma Ouweneel will be showcasing her photojournalism work from Central and East Asia in De Salon. It’s a collection of images and stories gathered while crossing the region by land over the course of 3 months.
Her work investigates the place of subjective truths, folklore and folk traditions, with a particularly focus on globalisation and changing cultural identity.
